Meet Lauri

I would like to personally thank you for stepping into my world for a moment and seeing firsthand why I adore what I do. Although my knowledge and love for photography began when I was a teenager, the fire was really lit to start my business in 2012 after the birth of my first son.
 
Becoming a mother showed me a love that I never could have imagined, and it taught me to slow down and savor all those sweet milestones our family was experiencing. Being able to document those cherished moments for my own family has been a blessing, and I quickly realized how much joy it brought me to share my gift of photography with other families and women.

Photographing the story of motherhood and women, has taken a very special place in my heart. As a mother, I know how important it is for me to also be in the images with my children. I want to remember the kisses, the cuddles, the hugs, the laughter, the smiles, the tickles, the comforting, and the OVERWHELMING LOVE we have for each other. Capturing these emotion-driven connections through a photograph is one of the best ways to re-live these treasured moments, and for my children and future generations to also enjoy forever.

My boys and husband are my WHOLE world! My husband, Roberto, and I met in beautiful New Zealand, and our adventures took us to exotic Brazil. Once we started our family, we moved to back to the USA in 2011. We have two gorgeous boys, Mateus and Luka, who are full of energy and constantly keep us laughing. They are TRUE mamas boys and are always giving me plenty of love and cuddles. As a family we love to be outside as much as possible going to parks, hiking, swimming, riding bikes and discovering nature. We love to travel, especially to the beach!

Meet Carrie

I've been blessed to work with Lauri since the beginning of 2016. When I was first introduced to Lauri’s work, I instantly connected with her light-filled, emotional approach to photography and knew right away I would love to be a part of such a unique and meaningful business.
 
Time has passed quickly since then and we are so proud to be where we are today! Our days are spent preserving some of life’s very best moments for wonderful families we truly care about. We laugh and smile a LOT during sessions and just as much behind the scenes too because we enjoy it all so much. I am incredibly grateful to work with Lauri, someone so kind and fun!

Lauri and I have a lot of things in common aside from photography, like our love of endless cups of coffee, fresh lavender, rainy editing days, candles always burning, yoga, acai bowls, + avocado-everything. :) However, more than anything else, we both believe that family is the most important thing in the world. Our love for family will always remain the heart of our business. It's the reason we work so hard to create portraits that go beyond the traditional sense and focus most of all on the overwhelming love and emotions we see within the families we're blessed to photograph.
