Our approach to family photography is very simple and relaxed. We gently guide you throughout the session to encourage sweet organic moments, so you’re never left feeling unsure of what to do but ultimately these sessions are all about going with the flow of what your little ones want to do and making it fun! We truly want families to be themselves – play together, kiss and cuddle like you would when you’re not being photographed. We’ll certainly get a few beautiful, traditional portraits but we mostly want to document your love for one another during the special in-between moments when you forget about the camera and focus on each other. In our experience, even children who don’t initially want to have their photo taken begin to loosen up and enjoy the camera if they see that they’re allowed to still be silly and playful!

Our 10 years + of experience photographing children has taught us to be patient and very fast with our equipment so we can capture even the briefest of smiles from a shy little one! This beautiful family is always amazing to photograph. Their sweet girls gave us some amazing smiles throughout our time together! Every image is filled with love and we couldn’t adore this family or early autumn session more! This is our very favorite location to use during August-October.
