Is there anything sweeter than an older sibling in absolute awe of their new baby sister or brother? Parents expecting Baby #2 are often nervous about how their first child will react to a new member in the family. We have found that after 10+ years photographing newborns and young families, these reactions are almost always filled with so much love, positivity and excitement!

Our favorite way to approach the sibling portraits during a newborn session is very organically. We have lots of adorable ways we can capture siblings together and we adapt for each individual child depending on their age and excitement level. Even if a child is hesitant to get close to their new baby brother or sister, we have many tips and tricks to get them interested and smiling! The key to capturing beautiful sibling images is patience and creative flexibility!
