Summer is coming to a close, which means busy schedules and new school years are beginning for many families here in Ohio. Before we transition into sharing family fall sessions, we thought it would be fun to look back on one of our favorite past sibling summer sessions! This session was all about capturing the authentic personalities of each child while encouraging them to explore nature, both individually and together. The playful atmosphere and child-led exploring brought out a sense of carefree whimsy and joy, perfect for a session all about celebrating childhood!

While we believe it’s incredibly important for families to have sessions that include the whole family together, it can also be wonderful to occasionally schedule a session just for your children. Scheduling a child or sibling session takes away the pressure of getting yourself ready that day and allows you to simply relax and cheer your little ones on from behind the scenes! It also gives children plenty of time to warm up and feel at ease during the photos and the chance to feel extra special, knowing the session is all about them (especially if you celebrate afterward with a treat like ice cream)!

These whimsical sessions work beautifully for individual children of any age, or for siblings together. Our childhood sessions encourage playfulness more than posing! What parent or grandparent wouldn’t treasure images like these to look back on as their little ones grow?
